VETERINARY SURGEONS

James J. Rutter James Rutter, BVSc, MRCVS, OV, PGCertSAS
James has a particular interest in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. He loves outdoor activities, such as hiking, rock climbing and kayaking.





Paul Mayers, MRCVS
Paul has over 3 decades of experience in treating pets. His motto is: "do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better" (Maya Angelou). When off duty, he particularly enjoys cycling, motorbiking and chess




Robertas Surplys DVM MRCVS, OV
Rob has been practicing in UK as small animal vet since 2006. He enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary work and especially soft tissue surgery. When off work, he likes spending time outdoors, walking his dog, coastal hiking and sea fishing.




Lina Balandyte DVM MRCVS
Lina graduated as a veterinary surgeon in 2006. In 2010 she obtained her DVM from University of Bern, Switzerland. Away from work, Lina enjoys long walks with her whippet Grikis exploring the coast and countryside.

Ashleigh Ashleigh Roberts
Ashleigh is an experienced trainee vet nurse with an NVQ in Animal Management from Glynllifon College. She is currently studying to become a qualified vet nurse. She has a beautiful cat which she hand-reared after it had been abandoned by its mother.



Morgaine Morgaine Jarvis
Morgaine originally came to the practice doing work experience as part of her Animal Care degree. She has now joined us full-time as a nursing assistant. It's been her dream to be a vet nurse since she was little. She has two dogs named Sasskia and Louie.





Deborah Guite, RVN
Deborah is a greatly experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who loves all animals - large and small - but is particularly partial to Jack Russell Terriers. Her interests include dog training and behaviour, horse riding, walking and bird watching.





Ffion Perdue
Ever since Ffion was very young she has always wanted to work in a veterinary practice. After undertaking work experience at clinic, she is exited to be training as a veterinary nurse and applying what she will learn in college in our practice.





Ruthie Jones
Ruthie has been caring for exotic animals all her life. Having moved to Anglesey recently, she is now assisting our nurses as Animal Assistant in looking after dogs and cats as well as the occasional small furry animals.
